Service Team Leader
Stuart has been with Carmine’s Import Service since early 2016 and handles day to day operations at the front counter, along with writing up customer repair orders. He is an ASE Certified Service Consultant and has a background in European cars. He enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, working on his old BMW and going to the race track.
Service Team Advisor & WorkFlow Manager
Dillon oversees workflow in shop and customer service at our front counter. He also writes up service and repair orders for customers. As an ASE Certified Consultant, you can be sure you are getting the latest and most accurate information known to us when your vehicle is under our care. Dillon is married and has two beautiful twin girls. He drives a BMW 525iT, and enjoys family time, hunting sports, and ATVs.
Master ASE Certified Technician
A senior Master technician at Carmine’s with 24 years of experience in the automotive industry specializing in all types European imports with extensive Mercedes-Benz and BMW knowledge. Steve also has an extensive background in general automotive service and repair from dealerships to independents. Between him, Carmine, James, and John, and combine experience of over 80 years, this team is second to none whether it comes to complicated programming, routine maintenance, and severe or simple repairs. He has a thing for Porsche cars too. Always wanted a 997. Steve is married with children, enjoys spending time with his daughters and loves the outdoors.
ASE Certified Technician
James A. Strive was born in Frankfurt, Germany while his dad was in the military. His mother is german giving him duel citizenship. Once in America in 1991, James lived in California and then Georgia, where he remained until moving to Stokesdale in 2012, then to Kernersville in 2013. James began his career in the auto mechanics industry at the age of 15, beginning with quick lube and general maintenance. From there, he has grown his knowledge and experience to reach the diagnostician title with multiple ASE certifications. James married Alicia in 2011, and the couple resides in Kernersville. Along with fixing things, James also enjoys camping, fishing, kayaking, hiking, photography/videography and watching movies.
Bosch Automotive Technician
He comes from a background of all types of vehicles with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Attention to detail and getting the job done right is what John focuses on.
ASE Certified Technician,Factory VW & Audi Certified
Dylan loves to spend time with his son and wife when he is not at work. He loves to be outdoors when not at work. His passion for this industry keeps him wanting to learn more and grow his career. He holds an ASE certification and also some factory Volkswagen/Audi Group Certifications from his past dealership positions. Dylan is a wiz when it comes to using the factory tools.
Paul worked with Ringling Brothers circus for a few years working on there trains, traveled most of the USA three times over. He has 196 certifications in aviation and my locomotive contractor license. He is big into movies, especially horror and also enjoys writing and doing anything outdoors. He also plans to become ASE Parts certified and learn more about the Bosch Automotive Service program as he grows with the company.

Vintage Automobile Expert, MLIS
Paul was a technician in the 1970’s and has always had his hands under the hood, even these days. He is our senior and most logical brain in the office an holds a Masters Degree. Paul is a kind person and loves animals and nature. He also has a passion for high end cycling, and Scandinavian automobiles. Carmine has known Paul since 1996 and has worked with him in and off over the years.
Founder & ASE Certified Master Technician
Carmine has been serving the European car community of the Triad area since 1999. He opened his full-service shop in downtown Kernersville in 2008. Carmine is an ASE Master Certified Technician, & Bosch Certified. He has a degree in Information Technology with concentration on networking and is also a Microsoft Certified Professional, so he can understand, diagnose and repair your new-car technology better than anyone in the area. Carmine’s understanding CAN-BUS topology associated with all late-model vehicle electrical systems is second to none in the Triad area. With such experience in modern automotive technology, he is constantly making sure the shop is equipped with the latest factory or factory-level or better diagnostic equipment that will not only help troubleshoot problems right the first time, but save the customer unnecessary troubleshooting charges. Carmine is proud to be married to a veteran of the US Army and has a 12-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son. He has a problem working too much but he enjoys spending time with his family, and although doesn’t race anymore, he stills enjoys driving on the race track with any car he can get his hands on. He constantly switches cars to stay ahead of the curve in comparison to other shop with regards to technology. Carmine is a High Performance Driving Instructor for the BMW Car Club of America. Carmine has owned over 100 different European vehicles since he started driving so his experience with even the smallest detail is second to none. He even spends time at new car dealerships test driving the newer makes and learning how the new systems work so he can mentor customers when the time comes. He has owned everything from a ’75 BMW 2002, to an ’87 Alfa Romeo, to a ’16 BMW M4 GTS.
