Down To The Last Detail
When your Ferrari arrives at our shop, our team of ASE-certified technicians will go over it with a fine-tuned comb. They’ll do a full inspection, including checking the engine, chassis, suspension, and brakes for signs of wear. One of the notorious issues with older Ferraris, is crankshaft oil seal and camshaft covers leaking oil. Since our techs have over 20 years of experience, they’ll make that check a priority. The tech will take photographs underneath the car and take thorough notes for review afterwards. Once the inspection is complete, our tech will set about completing the oil service. After draining the old oil out, a synthetic blend oil will be pumped in, as per manufacturer directives. Most current Ferraris take 10 quarts of oil, while older models like the 308 take around five. In addition, the tech will replace the oil filter and gasket. Best part for you is our oil change services are covered by a 3-year/36,000 mile warranty.
On the note of costs, it depends on the model you have. Later model Ferraris will cost around a few hundred dollars. For models like the F360 Modena and F430, a dealer will charge several hundred dollars for an oil change service. The F355 Berlinetta will cost over a grand. For those of you lucky enough to own a Ferrari Enzo, dealers will charge several thousand dollars for a complete oil change service.
The Galloping Horse Rides Again
Once our tech has finished with the service, they will do a final check to make sure everything is in working order. After which, they’ll bring it around, and one of our service advisors will let you know your Ferrari is ready for pickup. When you arrive for pick-up, our service advisor will talk you through the service and inspection notes, so you will have a long-term health plan for your vehicle. We want you to have control of what happens to your vehicle going forward. If your look brings your car in for a service, don’t hesitate to give us a call at 336-993-5506.
